Situated in the top left corner of the country, Istria has beautiful scenery and sophisticated culture with a distinctly Italian influence. Croatia is not a country where you are going to get a “bargain” property, but it is a country that offers good capital growth on your investment, if you have the budget to purchase. Istria has good accessibility by road and enjoys a tourist trade which is used to spending more money. Essentially a playground for celebrities and the rich, property doesn’t come cheap here, but those who do buy do so because they love the country and the culture.
