Bill Blevins

Managing Director, Blevins Franks Group

Bill Blevins is co-founder of the Blevins Franks Group established in 1975.

Bill has been involved in international private client investment and tax planning for over 40 years and regularly lectures on these subjects both in the UK and overseas. He is a Member of the International Tax Planning Association and the author of numerous books on specialist expatriate investment and tax matters.

Bill is a regular radio broadcaster both in the UK and southern Europe on investment and tax planning matters.

Bill lends his expertise to our Portugal Show where he explains the country's new tax laws. Bill also features on Overseas Property Extra.

Christina Hippisley

Editor in chief, Portugal Magazine

Christina Hippisley, now editor in chief of Portugal magazine published by Merricks Media, has worked for 15 years editing and publishing consumer travel and leisure magazines. Between 1986 and 1996 she lived in Lisbon, publishing consumer travel guides and magazines for Portugal's growing tourism industry. Along the way she learnt fluent Portuguese and met dozens of property developers, agents, business people and government officials. Christina now visits Portugal about 4 times a year meeting readers and business contacts.

Barbara Wood

Managing Director, The Property Finders

Barbara Wood has over 25 years experience in the overseas property sector, mostly as an estate agent. However, she noticed that specialist property finding services had become much more common in the UK during the 1990's, as time-poor buyers realised the benefits of employing their own agent to find property. Barbara was sure there would be demand for similar services for overseas property buyers and in 2003 she launched The Property Finders with her business partner, Rita Fryer. The Property Finders has expanded to work exclusively for property buyers in Spain (Andalucía, Catalonia, Mallorca) Ireland, France, Italy and Portugal, helping them locate and purchase property secure in the knowledge that they have someone totally committed to looking after their interests.
